Ashley Phipps's PledgePage

Hey everyone first of all let me say thank you for coming and checking out this site. The reason I started this site is that I am participating in the Disney World Half Marathon in January. I wanted to run in this race to honor several people very close to me that have died of cancer and to help other people who have been diagnosed with cancer. I am trying to raise money in order to participate in this event and would appreciate any type of support that any body would care to give to me. So thank you for your time and support.

The picture I have included on this page is of Harrison. Harrison is our Honored Hero. Below is a letter we received from Harrison upon starting our training.

Hi, My name is Harrison and I am the Honored Hero for the
Orlando Marathon Team! My dad is a TNT Alumni! I am four years old and was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia on July 24, 2003 at 10 weeks old. Today I can finally say that I
am in remission! I am a very sweet and inquisitive little boy.
When you first meet me I will come across a little shy but once
I get to know you I will open up. I love sports. I enjoy going out
and hitting golf balls on the driving range with my dad. I also
like to swim and play baseball. I have some very unique pets at
my house. I have a goldfish and some hermit crabs which I love
to play with. Thank you for being part of Team In Training.
Because of all of you I am a healthy boy again.
